A humorous picture of Guanyu, the Three Kingdom-Period Shu Han general who was also enshrined and worshipped in Kantei-byō as a god of wealth, and a girl reading together. In the upper centre it says “third year of Kanpō”, and on the right facing it is an egoyomi picture calendar giving the long 30-day months of this year in pseudo Chinese writing, and on the left, the short months of 29 days. The sale of egoyomi was prohibited from the Hōreki Era (1751-64); however, this work dates from before then, and can be considered a commercial product since the publisher is shown.
